  Association of Fundraising Professionals

  The Greater New Orleans Chapter was founded in 1980 and has more than 160 members. It has resources such as programs, a newsletter and a membership directory.

• Community Development Works

  Community Development Works (CDW), a program of The Rapides Foundation, provides training, leadership programs, and access to community development resources for nonprofits in Central Louisiana. The CDW site includes maps of area nonprofits, a consultants directory, and links to local nonprofit resources.

• LSU Shreveport

  Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research

  The Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research offers a wide range of research services to local, regional, and state businesses and nonprofit organizations. These services are especially useful for organizations applying for federal grants or private foundation grants that require program evaluations and research. Assistance can also be given for United Way outcome measures and evaluations.

• Northern Louisiana Community Platform

  The Louisiana Initiative for Nonprofit and Community Collaboration, or LINCC, is an online, geographic database of nonprofit organizations and local community needs and resources. LINCC has been created through the partnership of Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) and The Community Foundation of North Louisiana.
