Edgar Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, and Stephen King tell blood-curdling tales that frighten and shock readers. In the spirit of spooky Halloween storytelling, we will share our own scary tales of what terrifies us the most about fundraising.

In partnership with DER (Development Executives Roundtable), this program invites all attendees to share and engage, and to help other attendees get answers and solutions in a roundtable format. Don't be afraid to tell your story as it can be therapeutic to address your challenges and what makes you anxious about your job.

This won't be all about fear though. Rather, seasoned mentors will guide attendees on how to overcome anxiety and find positive solutions. And, since mistakes can often be opportunities to strengthen a donor relationship, we will also discuss how you can handle a past faux pas differently should you encounter a similar situation in the future.

So, pull up a chair around the campfire as the dark of night surrounds us. You may come to this session fearful and with trepidation, but you will leave confident and inspired with practical solutions to assuage your fundraising fears!
